YUM!!!! It has been so hot and humid that I started craving red bean ice with condensed milk. After a quick internet search, I found BowlBa Taiwan Eatery It was a bit of a drive but so worth it! Not only did my ice come with QQ boba and a scoop of vanilla ice cream, but I also could not resist ordering the Taiwanese sausage rice bowl. The rice was soft and chewy, pairing nicely with the savory and juicy sausage. Yes, it is a bit of a drive but I am coming back and plan on eating g my way through the menu.

can’t recommend this place enough! The drinks are seriously some of the best boba I’ve had. You can really taste the quality, and I absolutely love that they use honey tapioca pearls instead of regular tapioca. It gives the boba such a delicious flavor and the perfect chewy texture. Once you try honey boba, it’s hard to go back! What made the experience even better was meeting the owners. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and took the time to help me decide what to order based on what I like. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and are passionate about what they serve. The drinks are made fresh, the ingredients taste high quality, and the customer service is outstanding. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful boba with amazing hospitality, this is definitely the place to go. I’ll absolutely be coming back and bringing my friends and family! 🧋 10/10. The honey tapioca alone is worth the visit!

I love that they use organic vegetables, and you can really taste the freshness in every dish. Their bubble teas are outstanding, and I really appreciate that they make their boba in-house instead of using pre-made ones. It makes a huge difference in taste and texture. The menu has a great variety of delicious options at very reasonable prices, so there's something for everyone. On top of that, the service is always warm, friendly, and attentive. If you're looking for authentic Taiwanese food and amazing bubble tea, I highly recommend Bowlba!

love love love. it's difficult to find any Taiwanese food at all in Bergen county. I think we're absolutely blessed that bowlba is here. locally. there's a lot of Taiwanese theming inside the restaurant. stools similarly resemble what you see at hawker stalls and nightmarkets, and the menu is full of Taiwanese 小吃, drinks, and desserts, with variations that cater to both American and Taiwanese palates. so far, I got their popcorn chicken in 2 flavors, plum and garlic, which are both traditional Taiwanese seasonings. absolutely fantastic - there's no holy basil, but instead pickled onions and garlic. the first and last bites I took were full of nostalgia and love, truly. I plan on coming back for more, as it'll take me quite some time to get through all of the menu. the laoban is also so sweet, passionate about her business, and very skilled, clearly. May update my review over time with more photos of dishes as I come back. So far, 鹹酥雞 has been fantastic 😊

I ordered a large Strawberry Ice Matcha boba and it was absolutely delicious, especially for the price! 🤩 The flavor was perfectly balanced, not too sweet or bitter, just right. The customer service was amazing as well. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it! 😃
